Tender for the Supply of Project Management and Project Engineering Services

Keynvor Morlift Ltd (KML) invites all suitable companies to tender for a call off contract for the supply of a Project Manager and Project Engineers for their Falmouth Wharves Marine Hub Project.

This project, which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, will deliver flexible industrial workspace as well as improved marine facilities, creating a unique asset for the South West. It includes the refurbishment and fit-out of four existing buildings on site.

You will be required to supply a Project Manager and/or Project Engineers with experience of working on commercial construction projects. They will be required to have relevant construction site qualifications, and where necessary, experience of working in the marine construction and civil engineering industry. You will be expected to work with and manage the architects, design, drawings, specifications, sourcing materials, costings, H&S, BREEAM.

This list is not exhaustive and other job roles outside of this list may also be required. These roles are not required to be separate individuals and Multi Skilled personnel are welcome for efficiency.

This project is a major construction project taking place at a busy commercial wharf so some scopes of work may need to occur at short notice to fit around wharf operations. Therefore, it will be important that your company has the flexibility to be able to supply workers in response to tight notice periods. Notice periods may be 4 hours or less, seven days per week.

This also means that working hours may vary depending on the nature of the work happening on site at the time and could include longer hours and weekend working, especially when the marine elements of the project are taking place which can be determined by tidal conditions.

The contract is expected to start in January 2023 and run until December 2023.
