CASE STUDY :
KML chartered both a pontoon barge and crane from separate suppliers to create a heavy lift solution for a single project requirement in a live Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in SE England.
The 55 x 17 m barge, sourced from German owners, was fitted with a 330 te modular Liebherr LR1300 Crawler Crane as follows :
