Keynvor MorLift Expands Operations with New Site

Keynvor MorLift Ltd (KML), a Cornwall-based international marine contractor, continues to strengthen its position in the marine services sector, specialising in shoreline, coastal, and offshore operations. With proven expertise across marine renewable energy construction, project cargo handling, marine civil engineering, salvage, decommissioning, and a wide array of offshore services, KML consistently delivers expert solutions in demanding environments.

KML has had a very long-standing relationship with IMERYS, renting the Western Arm at Par Docks for more than ten years. The Western Arm is a valuable second wharf for KML, complementing KML’s main HQ and wharf base in Falmouth. From Par and Falmouth, KML vessels, equipment and teams are mobilised all over the world, from the Eastern Baltic to North America and the South Atlantic. Now, in response to growing demand and an expanding fleet of specialist vessels and equipment, KML has secured an additional site at Par to support ongoing and future operations. This will be primarily used for heavy laydown of KML marine equipment.

Groundworks at the new facility are well underway. The site is being levelled and stabilised with compacted stone to ensure durability and usability for all seasons of the year.

Diccon Rogers, KML’s Managing Director, said “at KML, we are excited to get our additional site at Par up and running. It will provide valuable extra space in addition to the Par Western Arm jetty and Falmouth sites, both of which are in high demand with our ongoing operations. We’re delighted to continue and strengthen our long-term relationship with IMERYS at Par. We are a proud Cornish company working globally, and this new site will further enable our ongoing contribution to the Cornish economy. And, in case anyone is concerned, KML wish to clarify that there is no connection whatsoever between KML’s activity and the potential desalination plant scheme promoted by South West Water”.
