Removal of Flood Gate at Polperro

An interesting recent assignment for one of our crane barges, ‘BD6072’, was the removal of the flood gate at Polperro in Cornwall.

This project was on behalf of MNCN for the Environment Agency and we will return to Polperro later in the summer to install a new gate.

Seeing the crane barge in the confines of Polperro harbour was quite a sight and it generated a lot of coverage on social media.
